MVC

Model–View–Controller: models hold data rules, views present, controllers orchestrate a request.

Where you see it

Rails is a textbook MVC web framework. Express is more “routes + handlers”; you still separate data, presentation, and request orchestration. Same idea, different file conventions.

Why it matters

Interviewers use MVC as a shared vocabulary across Rails, Laravel, Django, and Spring. If you can place a change in the right layer, you debug faster.
