About
Stop guessing what interviews require
CodePrepped was founded by Harry Ashton, a senior frontend engineer and hiring manager with 11+ years of experience across companies like EO Charging and THRIVE. Having sat on both sides of the interview table — as a candidate and as the person making hiring decisions — I built CodePrepped to bridge the gap between what developers think matters and what actually gets you noticed, shortlisted, and hired.
Too many talented engineers get filtered out before a human ever sees their work. Applications vanish into applicant tracking systems. GitHub profiles fail the 60-second test. Interview prep is scattered across random LeetCode problems and blog posts with no daily system that compounds.
CodePrepped connects the dots — the insider knowledge hiring managers actually use, translated into a structured daily practice loop. From refining your first impression to drilling the hidden marks interviewers score you on, to tracking applications and running mock interviews that feel like the real thing.
What we built
- The 60-second GitHub pass — what hiring managers actually open and what makes them leave
- Shortlist Scorecard — the marks used to rate your CV, GitHub, portfolio, and screen
- Code Arena — skill tracks and interview-style practice bouts by role and difficulty
- Keywords Trainer — drilling the hiring-manager language that shows up in screens
- Job Tracker — organize applications and prep checklists in one place
